The group of students from the program “From the Old World to the New Cuisine” from the US and Mexico visited different companies in Cantabria, northern Spain.
This summer program offers the opportunity the students to immerse in the traditional and new Cuisine and also gives them the opportunity to learn the Spanish language through classes with professors of the University of Valladolid.
During this weekend trip the students visited a gourmet producer, an artisanal anchovies company and a pastry and cookies Factory. They also had the opportunity to meet Chef Oscar Calleja from Annua restaurant, which is consider one of the top restaurants in northern Spain.
